Selecting
a gift
You can order the gifts from Diwali Mela
in a just a few minutes. The products can be selected
from various options like:
- According to price range
- According to your relation with the receiver
- According to product type
- Ready made combos which are cheaper than ordering
the products individually.
Once you have identified your gift, select the
Price in the currency of your choice i.e. US$
or Rs. and click on "Add to Cart" or
"Buy Now"
- "Add to Cart" allows you to add the
gift to your shopping cart and continue shopping
for more gifts for the same order. Once you have
added all the gifts, you can click on "My
Cart" or "View Cart" to view the
list of all the gifts selected by you. You can
add, remove and change quantity of gifts selected
here.
- "Buy Now" adds the gift to your shopping
cart and takes you to the shopping cart. You can
change the quantity of gifts in the shopping cart.
To add more products, click on "Continue
Shopping"
Billing & Shipping Details
After finalizing your order in the shopping cart,
click on "Pay & Finish" to proceed
for checkout and making the payment.
In the subsequent screen, you can provide your
address details and the recipient's details in
the Billing & Shipping Forms.
"In case you are an existing customer of
DiwaliMela.com, you can login with your user name
& password and obtain a discount of 7.5% of
your current purchase. If you are a new customer,
you will be entitled to this discount for your
subsequent purchases from DiwaliMela.com. The
user name and password will be emailed to you
on receiving your initial order."
After completing the Billing & Shipping address
form, click on "Submit all Details"
to proceed to the order confirmation page.
You can view & edit the complete order detail

- receiver's address details

printed on a label, pasted on the greeting card

Master/Visa Credit Card: You can make payment

make note that Payseal is an Indian payment gateway
from ICICI Bank. All US $ orders are converted
to Indian Rupees for charging on the payment gateway.
Due to exchange rate fluctuations there maybe
a slight variation in the amount reflected in
your credit card statement.
Online bank transfer/ Net Banking: You can make
payment by online bank transfer if you have a
bank account with any of the following banks -
HDFC Bank, Citibank, UTI Bank, Oriental Bank of
commerce, IDBI Bank, Global Trust Bank, Centurian
Bank, Federal Bank, Bank of Punjab.
Other Credit Cards: You can make payment by other

use FedEx for our international courier shipments
and Blue Dart for delivery within India. For areas,
which are not serviced by the courier company within
India, the orders are shipped through India Postal
Service.

do you deliver gifts? |

We deliver gifts
through courier to all destinations outside India
serviced by FedEx and within India by Blue Dart.
For deliveries within India, if the courier service
is not available for a particular place, the products
are sent through Speed Post service of the Indian
Postal Department or even if that is not possible,
then it sent through Registered Post.

soon will the products be delivered? |

orders received by 5 PM IST for deliveries for courier
destinations, are couriered on the same day from
our warehouse in New Delhi. The orders for destinations
not serviced by our courier company are shipped
the next day by Speed Post or Registered Post of
Indian Postal Service.
All
orders received after 5 PM IST or on Sunday are
shipped the next day
For orders received before 5 PM IST, the courier
shipments within India gets delivered within 1-3
working days. In all major metros like Delhi,
Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore & Hyderabad
the gifts are delivered the next day only.
Outside
India orders get delivered with 3-4 working days
from the date of shipment.
For
Speed Post/Registered Post it generally takes
3-10 days for delivery.

if no one is available to receive the parcel at
the destination? |

The courier
makes two attempts for delivery on two days. They
leave a message in case the person is not available.
After two failed attempts, the courier company informs
us about the non-delivery. The packet is kept at
their local office. We get in touch with the customer,
and get more details to redirect the packet or more
contact information for the receiver. We follow
this practice for international deliveries as well.
In
case of shipments by Speed Post or Registered
Post, we can not provide any follow up service
once the items have been shipped from our place.

do I track my shipment? |

All orders can
be tracked online at DiwaliMela.com by entering
your 16 Digit Order Id. When you place an order
on our site, you will receive an e-mail confirming
that your order has been placed. You will also receive
the Airway Bill number of the Courier company, after
they take charge of your parcel.
Please note that order tracking is available only
for order shipped through Blue Dart or FedEx.

To track your order, please enter your order ID
in the "Track Your Order" link on the
top left side of our site and press the Go button.
You will get a pop up informing about the status
of your order. The courier deliveries can also be
tracked online at www.BlueDart.com and www.Fedex.com
with their respective Airway Bill nos.
In the days leading up to Diwali, we offer a
24-hour telephone hotline as well as 24 hrs online
